RENT / EVERTZ QUARTZ EQT 3232
The EQT is a routing solution for mission–critical applications. Its revolutionary
design provides easy access to all components for quick replacement,
minimizing down time. With this, and the ability to route up to 32x32 signals
in a compact 2RU frame, the EQT is ideal for all mission–critical and demanding
24/7 environments.
Being format independent data paths, the EQT supports digital signals from
3Mb/s all the way up to 3Gb/s including SD–SDI, HD–SDI, 3G–SDI, DVB–ASI
and SMPTE ST 310–1.
ConfIguration:
The EQT is housed in a 2RU frame and switches
32 sources to 32 destinations. Both the input and output stage of the EQT
are fixed at 32 in the coaxial version, and expandable in blocks of two
(to a max of 32) in the fiber version.
Control:
The EQT router is compatible with the existing ranges of Quartz
routers, remote control panels and control systems. The EQT router includes,
as standard, an internal frame controller module which supports a single
Q–Link, a single serial port and a single Ethernet port on the rear of the router.
The EQT router has a number of control options:
Remote Control Panel:
Any panel(s) from the entire range of Quartz
remote control panels can be used with the EQT router connected via
Q–Link or Ethernet. (Exceptions: CP–1024E, CP–2272E, CP–1040E)
External Third Party Control:
The EQT router can be remotely controlled
via an external third party control device, such as an automation system,
when connected to the serial port.
Expansion:
The input and output stage of the EQT is fixed at 32 in the
coaxial version and expandable in blocks of two in the fiber version.
It can not be expanded beyond its frame size.
Power Supply:
The power supply for the EQT router is internal. The
EQT router can be fitted with an optional redundant internal power supply
that is hot–swappable.
Technical:
The EQT router offers a full 3Gb/s bandwidth.
